
The member area is a private access area for people who have been active in providing information and recordings to me. The Unidentified Images section is an ongoing project to help identify the sources for some Bruckner images. The Contributors section is a place where I can give credit and thanks to some individuals who have helped me gather the information contained in this website. Wanted recordings is just that - a list of recordings I am attempting to locate. In the Links and Listings section, I attempt to provide you with some other interesting places to find information. And I personally loved the style of Suspiria so it was fun to get another taste of it in. So yeah, Argento used what he knew would work when he needed another hit movie, but who can blame him. They can be seen in my "Discographic Horrors" section. Phenomena has plenty of other similarities to Suspiria including the dreamlike atmosphere, evil matriarchs, hidden rooms and maggots. While not wanting to get drawn into the interpretational merits or demerits of Bruckner performances, I felt that it was fair game to point out some of the bungled CD productions that have come my way. I have written a brief introduction to Anton Bruckner which provides some explanation as to the reason there are so many differing versions of his symphonies.
